My main passion is helping small businesses — especially pet businesses — grow into real, sustainable businesses that actually pay the bills, without burning the owner out in the process.
For over 20 years, I’ve worked as a business and marketing consultant, with a strong background in psychology and buyer behaviour. During that time, I’ve started, grown, and supported multiple businesses across different industries — both my own and for clients.
I’ve seen the business world before social media, before online courses, before algorithms, and after all of it too — which gives me a very real, grounded view of what actually works long-term (and what’s just noise).
One thing I’ve seen again and again is this:
Brilliant, passionate people start businesses because they love what they do…
But no one ever shows them how to actually run a business.
So they end up overwhelmed, guessing, Googling answers, trying everything, feeling stressed — and often blaming themselves when the problem was never their skill, but the lack of clear structure and guidance.
I’ve also seen first-hand how damaging this can be to mental health when a business doesn’t start bringing in money quickly enough. I truly believe businesses should begin breaking even within 3–6 months — otherwise stress, anxiety, and burnout creep in fast.
Telling people to “just outsource” is rarely helpful either — most small business owners simply can’t afford that in the early stages. What they actually need is a simple way to understand and do things themselves, without it becoming overwhelming.
That’s exactly why I created The Pet Business Lounge.
It’s built to give pet business owners clear direction, simple steps, and practical tools to grow properly — not just survive.
Everything inside is broken down into manageable actions, daily guidance, and easy-to-follow systems so you always know what to focus on next — whether that’s marketing, systems, visibility, pricing, sales, passive income, or future-proofing your business.
Why the pet sector specifically?
Because I love animals, I’ve always had pets, and my mum launched her own pet business earlier this year. After helping her get set up — and fully booked until 2027 — it made complete sense to adapt my experience, systems, and resources specifically for pet business owners.
The Pet Business Lounge exists so pet professionals don’t have to struggle alone, guess their way through growth, or feel like business has to be stressful to succeed.
Whether you’re just starting out or feeling stuck after being in business a while, my goal is simple:
To help you build a business that feels calmer, clearer, more profitable, and far more sustainable — without burnout.
Welcome — I’m really glad you’re here.
Let’s get some proper strategies in place and help your business truly thrive.
